BLM stands for Black Lives Matter. Throughout history and now more so than ever, Black Americans are subject to violent hate crimes and injustice along with inequality in the US legal, police, and other systems. They are discrimniated against and a strong inequality is noticed when comparing the consequences and reactions to similar or more extreme cases between Black Americans and White Americans. After the cruel death of George Floyd, the BLM movement picked up momentum and the public has started to finally acknowledge the problems and struggles Black Americans face in this "equal" society. Join the millions of people who fight for equality and protection of black lives.

AAPI stands for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Asian americans in the United States have also been subject to discrimination since the 1850s Chinese Exclusion Act. With this longstanding racism, Asian citizens have endured and struggled with being called derogatory and stereotypical terms. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, this discrimination developed into targeted violence and hatred. The virus originated from China and impacted millions across the world, causing some to take out the blame on all Asian peoples rather than accepting the future.
